CalSync Privacy Policy
CalSync is a private, single-owner application that selectively publishes sanitized appointments from connected Google calendars to one shared Google calendar. This policy explains what data CalSync accesses, why it is used, and how it is protected.
Google data CalSync accesses
After you authorize a Google account, CalSync can read its calendar list and events from calendars you enable. It uses your verified Google identity to restrict the application to its configured owner. CalSync requests offline access so scheduled reconciliation can continue while you are signed out.
How Google data is used
CalSync shows upcoming events for selection, creates only the sanitized destination copy you approve, and keeps source-owned schedule and cancellation state synchronized. The destination title, description, and location remain under your control.
Attendees, organizer details, attachments, and conferencing links are not copied automatically. Source descriptions, attendees, attachments, and conferencing data are not persisted by CalSync.
Storage, protection, and retention
CalSync stores connection and calendar configuration, encrypted refresh tokens, share-link state, and privacy-minimized audit metadata in Google Cloud. Refresh tokens are encrypted with Cloud KMS; application secrets are held in Secret Manager. Unsanitized source event content is not retained in audit records or application logs.
Configuration and share metadata are retained while the service is in use and as needed for reliable reconciliation and auditing. You may revoke Google access at any time. To request deletion of CalSync data, contact the address below.
Sharing and disclosure
CalSync does not sell your Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers. Data is processed by Google APIs and Google Cloud to provide the service. A sanitized event you publish is visible to people who can access the destination calendar you chose. CalSync may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and its users.
Google API Limited Use
CalSync's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Read the policy on the Google Developers website.
